Every new listing must be reviewed before it can be published. This process helps FearINN maintain accurate listings, improve guest confidence, and confirm that hosts understand our marketplace and safety standards.
Your listing will remain hidden from public search results while it is awaiting approval.

FearINN receives the listing information, photographs, booking details, property rules, and disclosures you provided.

We review the listing for completeness, accuracy, quality, and compliance with FearINN policies.

If information is missing or needs clarification, FearINN may contact you using the email address associated with your host account.

You may be asked to make changes
We may ask you to update photographs, correct listing information, clarify booking terms, or provide additional documentation.

The listing is approved or declined
Approved listings may be published on FearINN. Listings that do not meet our requirements may require additional changes or may be declined.
Information We May Review
FearINN may review or request information related to:
- Property ownership, management rights, or authorization to create the listing
- The host’s identity and contact information
- Current and accurate photographs or videos
- Property location and access instructions
- Listing description, rates, availability, and booking details
- Property rules and guest restrictions
- Known hazards, unusual conditions, and safety concerns
- Accessibility limitations
- Emergency contact and evacuation information
- Permits, licenses, insurance, or occupancy documents when applicable
- Compliance with FearINN’s Terms of Service and Trust & Safety standards
Do not email government identification, financial information, or other sensitive documents unless a FearINN representative specifically requests them and provides instructions.
Property and Experience Standards
Listings should provide an honest and accurate description of what guests can expect.
Hosts must clearly disclose conditions such as:
- Uneven floors, stairways, or walking surfaces
- Low lighting or limited visibility
- Remote or difficult-to-access locations
- Abandoned, historic, or partially deteriorated areas
- Restricted rooms or prohibited areas
- Wildlife, environmental, or weather-related hazards
- Limited utilities, cellular service, or emergency access
- Age, mobility, health, or physical participation requirements
- Security cameras or recording devices where legally permitted
- Any other condition that could affect a guest’s safety or decision to book
Haunted history, paranormal claims, legends, and reported experiences should be presented responsibly and should not be intentionally misleading.
Help Prevent Approval Delays
Before requesting approval, make sure that:
- Every required listing field has been completed
- Photographs are clear, current, and accurately represent the property
- Pricing and booking information are correct
- Property rules are easy to understand
- Known hazards and accessibility limitations are disclosed
- Your host profile and contact information are current
- You are authorized to offer the property or experience
- You have responded to any requests from FearINN Host Support
Incomplete or inaccurate information may delay the review process.
Important Approval Information
Submitting a listing does not guarantee that it will be approved or published.
FearINN may request corrections, additional information, or supporting documentation before making a decision. FearINN may decline listings that are incomplete, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, inappropriate, or inconsistent with marketplace policies.
The approval process is intended to review the information submitted to FearINN. It is not a professional property inspection, legal certification, structural evaluation, insurance review, or guarantee that a property is free from hazards.
Hosts remain responsible for their properties, experiences, legal obligations, disclosures, guest safety procedures, and compliance with applicable laws.
